MIFACIG´ organization :

As a CIG (Common Initiative Group), MIFACIG is managed by the Executive Bureau: 7 members elected by the General Assembly (39 members nowadays), that ensures the smooth running of the organization. The Executive Bureau members are drawn mostly from the grassroots with a good background in Natural Resource Management and community development.
The staff of MIFACIG is currently composed of 6 personnel
.

 

 

Kuh-Emmanuel is the historical leader of MIFACIG. He is a graduate from Agric School and is the co-coordinator of MIFACIG since 1993. Since 1994, he is also the coordinator of the Ijim Tree Farmer's Union.
He is also the honorable representative of farmer groups in the North-West Province.

Since the beginning of MIFACIG’s venture, KUH Emmanuel has given all his strength and energy to develop the structure, and has gradually transformed it into a Resource Centre, aimed at helping farmers and protecting natural resources.

Ijim Tree Farmer's Union (ITFU) is a federation of Common Initiative Group which gathered 41 different groups of various sizes organized in 5 main wings. Shown below.
