Thanks to the support and contribution of different international organizations, MIFACIG has been able to achieve much, these organizations include: · Ijim Mountain Forest Project:Collaboration with the Ijim mountain forest project started in 1994 when MIFACIG nursery was selected as a model for the training of farmers on the establishment of Community nurseries for the production of endemic trees species like Prunus africana, Polycias fulva, canarium, markemia, maesopsis, etc. · US Peace Corps:The American Peace Corps started collaborating with MIFACIG in 1997 and since then has been using MIFACIG Resource Center for the practical training of their Peace corps Volunteers in agroforestry programs. They also supported the construction of the MIFACIG Resource Center Guest house with a conference hall. · World Agro-Forestry Centre - ICRAF Collaboration with ICRAF started in 1998 when MIFACIG was selected as one of the pilot sites for participatory development and evaluation of agroforestry techniques. Since then, ICRAF has been providing technical, material and logistical support to the group in order to facilitate their training and dissemination role in the North-West province of Cameroon, according to a common agreed work plan. · University of Dschang: The university of Dschang had a partnership programme with the MIFACIG Resource Center in 2005 for the transfer of agroforestry knowledge to farmers and students with financial support of ANAFE[ African Network for Agroforestry Education]. · New England BioLabs Foundation. Since 2004 to 2008 New England Biolabs Foundation has been providing financial assistance to MIFACIG for the promotion of organic vegetable gardening in sixteen schools in the Boyo division area (North-West Province.) Sixteen vegetable gardens have been created in sixteen schools and over 600 pupils and students have been trained as direct beneficiaries and over 6 000 people as indirect beneficiaries of the project. · IITA : Since 2007, IITA has provided funds to MIFACIG in order to train twelve farmer cooperatives in the Center and South West Provinces of Cameroon on the production and integration of improved fruit trees in their farming systems.
