Volunteer structure

As an organization, MIFACIG needs the help of motivated young people from all over the world, willing to help better the lives of rural communities. We believe that in the spirit of development, our volunteers should contribute in one way or the other to help our resource center and consequently the rural people that we serve.

You must have gone through our website and had first hand information about what we do. If you are interested and want to be a volunteer with MIFACIG, please feel free to contact us and ask any questions about us. Before doing so please request for our orientation booklet to better understand how your stay will be structured.

We require a once off registration payment fee of $75 for administrative cost and transport to and from the airport. You will be expected to pay a monthly accommodation fee of $300  food included ( breakfast and supper) at our MIFACIG Rest House (NOTE: we do not allow any transfer of money, financial arrangements are settled with our accountant on arrival).  You might be from a better environment and your way of life might be different but we believe that to understand the environment where you will be working, you need to be part of it. Before even making a decision to be a volunteer, it is important that you understand the community where you will be working.

Should you wish to have a vacation or visit the tourist attractions around Boyo Division or  other parts Cameroon, we can also make that possible for you. We can arrange for a car and fuelling. Please contact us of if you are interested in our volunteer positions. Thank you for your interest in MIFACIG’s work.
