Environment: Water Project and water shed development

MIFACIG environment water resources and volunteer project /programme centers on the allocation of water and watershed development within the rural communities where we work. MIFACIG aims to designate volunteers the job of investigating and analyzing the system. As a volunteer / intern would be responsible to set up meetings with local representatives and discuss the water issues. You would also be recording data at various sites such as Mbingo Baptist hospital community forest, water catchment development and in addition to this you would be looking through activity reports.

According to former volunteers, this program is one of the best ways to assist community water need, shedding light on Community depleting water table..

Language Requirements: English or French
Food and Accommodation: Cameroon standard with host family in the working community
Key Activities: interview local people, companies, organizations, documentations and much more
Beneficiaries: Local Community of Cameroon
Working Hours: 4 to 5 hrs - 5 to 6 days per week
Required Qualifications and Skills: Degrees or relevant experience in water and sanitation, or associated disciplines (Hydraulics, Hydrology, Water Management, Civil Engineering, Public Health).
Program Fees: 905 Euros to 1305 Euros depending on the length of stay
